Technician recording equipment details from a system data plate

Support

Warranty

Warranty coverage varies by manufacturer, product, and installation. We publish specific terms only once they are confirmed.

Starting a warranty question

  1. 01

    Identify the system

Model and serial number, or clear photos of the unit and its label.

  2. 02

    Describe the issue

What changed, when it started, and what you have already tried.

  3. 03

    Provide install details

Approximate installation date and who performed it.

Registering your system makes this faster, because the installation record is already on file.

What to have ready before you contact us

  • Model and serial number from the unit label
  • Approximate installation date
  • Who installed the system, if it was not Liquid Tec
  • A clear description of the issue and when it started
  • Any prior service or repairs related to the issue

How a warranty question is handled

We start by confirming the system and reviewing what is covered under the manufacturer's terms for that specific product. From there, we outline what documentation or inspection is needed and what the likely next step looks like.

Coverage differs by manufacturer, by product line, and sometimes by how the system was installed. We will not state that something is covered, or how long coverage lasts, until we have confirmed it against the manufacturer's documentation for your exact product.

Common questions

Warranty questions we get asked

Does a warranty cover filter cartridges?

Consumables are generally treated separately from the equipment itself. Replacement filters and media are handled through filter replacements rather than a warranty claim.

Does coverage transfer if I sell the house?

Transferability depends entirely on the manufacturer's terms for that product. We confirm it against their documentation before answering.

What if another company installed it?

You can still contact us. Coverage may depend on how and by whom the system was installed, which is one of the first things we check.

How fast will I hear back?

We respond to warranty questions as they come in. If the system is registered, the first reply is usually substantive rather than a request for more details.
